Veena is a stringed musical instrument of South India which has enchanting strains. Tandoor is a North Indian Traditional Clay Oven used for meat barbeques and naans.
Our new Chef, who started in March on 2011 has enhanced our already popular Indian cuisine.
Here you enjoy a pleasant yet indulgent blend of both South Indian curries alongside North Indian tandoori food with an exciting range of vegetarian delights in a very relaxing atmosphere.

The restaurant has a nice cosy feeling as you enter. Was an old house that's been converted. There is an outdoor area as well, with tables and chairs but it looked like it hadn't been cleaned up in awhile, as ground was covered in dead leaves and the tables hadn't been cleaned, so were very dusty.
The food was really beautiful and the waitress was quietly spoken and had a lovely smile. Very ambient.
Only 2 minor problems - There were 4 of us having a banquet and they seated us at a small round table with very limited space for the bowls. There were plenty of vacant larger tables, so not sure why we were put there.
Secondly, it took awhile to get our first drinks (15 minutes) and for the meal to be served (another 15 minutes).
It was a Tuesday night and there were only 4 other couples in the restaurant, so not sure why the service was so slow.
With those things aside, we thoroughly enjoyed our meals and wouldn't hesitate to go back again.
Definately Recommend!
